People are often very good actors in life, they pretend to be what they are not, they lie and cheat to get what they want. It is usually hard to recognize such people, or you do, but then it is too late. The purpose of this spell is to reveal the true intentions of a person to you before they can harm you.
You need a bowl of water and a white candle. This spell must be done by night (during waxing moon if possible)
Open the circle, put the bowl of water on your altar. Put the candle in front of the bowl. Do not light it yet, it needs to be completely dark for the first part of the spell. Now sit in front of the altar and chant these words:
Now light the candle and chant the following:
Now with both hands touch the water, than touch your eyes, ears and chest. Than chant the following:
The main purpose for this ritual is to honor and welcome the Spirits of the dead to our world in the night of Samhain, but it is also used before doing other spells and rituals which need additional power.
What you need to do first is to cast the circle and light four white candles outside the circle,one candle for each corner of the world. When that is done enter the circle, stand in the middle, take your wand and hold it with both hands vertically while speaking the following words:
There are many paths that lead to understanding God and the Goddess. I have read, heard, seen many approaches to the Deities but none of them appeared right to me. I follow my own path, which is similar to wicca and yet different. I never could agree with their thinking, presentation of God and the Goddess in a manner similar monotheistic religions, I mean hierarchically. As a simple example, the dianic understanding of God as a son of the Goddess and as her lover. Isnt this conception of God as a son and a Goddess as mother simmilar to the conception of Jesus and the Virgin Mary? And this second part is also twisted, absolutely unnatural (son and lover?) because Wicca is based on the worship of nature. Even animals do not perform incest! Also they often speak of absolute balance, natural flow of things, and yet (especially in the dianic path) the Goddess is regularly put above God. But this is only my way of thinking and some things that I can not accept, but everyone has his own approach.My understanding is based on the absolute equilibrium. Can you not see that everything, absolutely everything has two sides? You for example : two hands, two eyes, two halves of the brain, then think about the plants, stems and roots, the leaf is divided into two parts .. There are plenty of examples, darkness and light, good and evil ... What has this to do with the Deities? A lot. Can you not see, that those two sides of every creature and thing operate in complete harmony, separate and yet one! Here's an example: male and female, completely different but still they can not exist one without the other.
It is the creation, perfection of the divine. By thinking about those simple things i started understanding God and the Goddess. There are two of them, and yet they are one. Life has been created by the unity of of the different.
You saw in the various mythologies of the world how many gods and goddesses there were. These are just names and aspects of The One God and The One Goddess. Because of this I do not like to call them by their names when I write about them. I only use names in situations when I want to invoke the Deities particular aspect.
